The Opportunity:

The Senior Manager of SEO is responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies to increase visibility, traffic, and rankings for the company's website. This includes conducting keyword research, optimizing website content, and building backlinks. The Senior SEO Manager will also be responsible for tracking and analyzing website performance, as well as staying up-to-date with industry trends and changes in search engine algorithms.

This role reports directly to the VP of Marketing and you will partner closely with cross-functional internal teams to support your success.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute SEO campaigns
  • Identifying and targeting long-tail keyword opportunities 
  • Manage the content strategy for our blog and content marketing efforts 
  • Optimizing website architecture and navigation
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
  • Regularly reporting on progress and results to stakeholders
  • Identifying and mitigating technical SEO issues
  • Continuously monitoring and analyzing the site’s performance and making recommendations for improvement

Skillset:

  • Proven track record of optimizing large, multi-million page websites
  • Knowledge of Search Engine algorithms, technical and content SEO skills with the ability to evaluate HTML, CSS and Javascript for SEO purposes 
  • Experience with technical site audits and working with web analytics suites, such as Google Analytics and Search Console 
  • A strong collaborator with stellar communication skills (oral, written, and listening)
  • Has a positive, “whatever it takes” attitude and a real passion for learning.
  • Thrives in a challenging and fast-paced environment
  • Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail 

Education and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Marketing or related field
  • Experience with creating back linking strategies that drive domain authority 
  • 3+ years of experience in an SEO focused position, ideally in the B2B SaaS industry
  • Proficient in Google docs, slides, sheets or equivalent (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel), as well as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
